I’m Siobhan.

I’ve enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember. These days I find myself mostly reading literary fiction – both contemporary and historical – and classics. It’s rare but not unheard of for me to delve into speculative fiction, magical realism, and mystery. Even rarer is non-fiction and poetry, but they do appear.

I’ve never had a blog before, and have only minimal experience of putting my book-related thoughts out into the world. I love dissecting the books I’ve read though, and I’m excited to have a place in which I can offload any and all opinions and insights about my reading list.

This blog is primarily for myself and I consider any readers to be a happy accident. A very welcome accident, but an accident nonetheless. If you do find yourself here, I hope I’ve made it clear that I won’t be shying away from spoilers. Enter any posts about your as-of-yet unread books with caution.

Book recommendations always welcome. Please also share any of your own insights and opinions – talking to myself about books is fun, but talking with others is even better.
